Dog Health
I honestly can NOT guarantee your `dog/puppy's health any more than your doctor can guarantee yours or any of your family members health. I do the best I can to make sure my breeding dogs are in the best health possible, health tested and clear for any genetic diseases I can test for. There are hundreds of sicknesses that I cannot test for that can pop up anywhere along the line, that is just the unfortunate reality of being a living being. Plus, there is no way to predict what genetics will do. The unknown genetics from 6 generations back can cause problems for one puppy out of 100.
There are dozens of other reasons for other things to pop up along the way as well. It is your job as a pet owner to make sure you are informed and making sure your dog is living in as healthy conditions as possible. I have seen a perfectly healthy dog end up having out of the blue allergies, a seizure or strokes right after being exposed to house cleaning chemicals, yard chemicals, eating some foods and treats, even reactions to wormers, flea & tick meds and vaccines. It isn't a one size fits all out there. What is fine for one could be an emergency vet visit for another.
I personally like to raise my dogs as naturally as possible. That works well for me.
So, research as much as possible and make the decisions that work best for you and your fur-family. We cannot control everything, know that if something does go wrong, it is NOT your fault (or your vet or your breeder). You did the best you could with the knowledge you had at the time.
I hope some of the info below helps!

As a dog breeder, animal health is my top priority. That’s why NuVet Plus immune system builder is required as part of your pet’s Health Guarantee extension.
To assure your puppy gets off to the right start, they have been enjoying NuVet Plus every day as a treat (they love the taste). Continuing this daily regimen is the easiest and best way to keep your pet on the path to perfect health! Please order prior to receiving your pup.
Hundreds of thousands of dogs and cats are using NuVet Plus to provide optimal health and a strong immune system. A strong immune system will protect them from environmental and food toxins such as back yard pesticides, hormones, toxic formaldehyde in furniture and carpeting. NuVet Plus also supports proper development as well as a beautiful skin and coat.
This is not just a vitamin. It’s an immune system builder with a precise balance of vitamins, minerals, omega fatty acids, amino acids and high-potency antioxidants. That’s why it works so well through all three stages of a dog’s life.
For puppies - Fills the immunity gap all puppies experience. Shortly after birth maternal antibody effectiveness is greatly reduced. By 8 weeks your puppy’s immune system is at a vulnerable point. Once in their new home, the immune system is weakened by the stress of adoption and exposure to novel bacteria and viruses in their environment. This is also when the vaccine series is started. Vaccines are most effective if the immune system can respond properly. Starting NuVet Plus now is important to helping your puppy grow into a healthy adult.
For dogs in their prime – Provides the necessary antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals to sustain peak performance during the prime of their lives.
For older dogs - Helps provide the nutritional needs to live long, happy, and productive lives in their senior years.
We highly recommend NuVet Plus to keep your pet on the path to perfect health! It is not available in stores, and is only available to the general public with an order code from an authorized pet professional.
For your convenience, you may order online by clicking on this link www.nuvet.com/44245 or calling 800-474-7044 and using Order Code: 44245 You can also save an additional 15% and assure you never run out of NuVet by choosing the “AutoShip” option at check out.

Turmeric
“Turmeric is one of the most potent natural anti-inflammatories available,”
THE RECIPE
First source the following ingredients-
- ½ cup of organic turmeric root powder
- 1 cup of clean spring or filtered water (may need more)
- 1 ½ teaspoons freshly ground black pepper (Whole peppercorns have a volatile enzyme called Piperine, which is the active ingredient that helps in GP. Once the peppercorn is crushed, the piperine starts to disappear, so stuff that has been bought already cracked/crushed/ground will have very little to no medicinal piperine value left. Cracking/crushing/grinding just before adding it to the paste will provide you with the best possible medicinal value.)
- ¼ cup organic cold pressed virgin coconut oil (you can also use olive oil)
Here’s how easy it is: just mix the turmeric root powder with the 1 cup of water in a pan or pot, you can add more water if needed. Stir the mixture on medium/low heat and in about 7 to 10 minutes, it should form a thick paste. (If your paste looks runny, just add a bit more turmeric and heat it for another couple of minutes.)
Once turned into a paste, add the fresh cracked pepper and coconut oil, and then stir it up!
Once cool, place the paste in a mason jar and store it in your fridge. The paste should last for about 2 weeks.
Start with about ¼ to ½ tsp, depending on the size of your dog. You can increase the amount from there, up to about a Tbsp for larger dogs.
